Concrete Lift and Stabilization Dallas Texas

Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization Serving Dallas, Texas

You have reached Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization – welcome!  We serve as a licensed road-construction company based in Fort Worth, Texas.  Our specialty is the lifting and stabilization of concrete panels that have settled and pose risks for serious accidents or other hazards.  One huge benefit of concrete lifting and stabilization is its cost-effectiveness – typically, half the expense of new concrete!

At Nortex, we utilize high-density polyurethane-foam injections beneath the pavement which allows slabs to regain the correct grade and elevation.  Polyurethane-foam injections are a highly-effective solution that caters to a multitude of applications involving municipal, industrial, commercial, and residential needs.

We, also, specialize in concrete grinding – our signature process is known as ‘PolyGrinding’.  PolyGrinding serves two purposes:  it addresses any issues below a concrete slab and addresses problems of faulted pavement on top of a slab.  Polyurethane-foam injection and concrete joint grinding will correct and enhance the soils as well as grind down any offset joints above the soil’s surface.

Foam injection and concrete grinding receive a robust thumbs-up by transportation departments across the US.  These two concrete-repair options are proven to be more efficient and more cost-effective when compared to full-depth repair and dowel bar retrofit.

At Nortex, our combined experience of more than 35 years is central to fully meeting the needs of our 100+ clients state-wide and nation-wide.  From huge state-affiliated projects to smaller residential endeavors, customer satisfaction is ‘Job 1’.

Fulfilling Critical Needs

Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization has the expertise and inventory to complete any sized project, at any location.  Our company 1) has been contracted to service and support the maintenance needs of more than 50 US cities and 20 states 2) has repaired 500+ lane miles 3)  has completed more than 35,000 residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental projects 4) utilizes a fleet of 12 fully-operational, self-contained box trucks and 5) is certified to set-up and maintain critical traffic flow, when required.

Our polyurethane-foam injection procedure is highly effective.  The foam is hydrophobic and is completely unaffected by wet-soil conditions.  This allows for water, beneath the pavement, to be deterred and repelled since the foam eliminates water penetration.  Polyurethane foam cures within minutes meaning the treated area can be used almost immediately, thereby, reducing the number of delays and amount of inconvenience.

Polyurethane-foam injections and concrete grinding are the perfect repair solutions for:

***  Airport Runways – cracking and severe pavement settlement due to poor base and sub-grade soils – efficient repairs allow for quickly-resumed flight operations.

***  Bridges – slab settlement at approach and departure areas caused by unstable foundation soils, water penetration, and constant impact and pressure – soils are stabilized and strengthened, eliminating future settlement and erosion.

***  Pavements – faulted pavements due to poorly-compacted foundation soils, water penetration, and heavy tractor-trailer loads – polyurethane-foam injections and ‘PolyGrinding’ are, commonly, used here.

***  Industrial/Commercial – settlement due to voids beneath concrete foundations – foundations are quickly repositioned to achieve original elevation.  The foundation-lifting process can extend the life of slabs that are still viable.

***  Infrastructure – leaks, voids, and deterioration of large pipes, culverts, manholes, drop inlets, and more due to water infiltration, settling, poor compaction of foundation soils, etc. – costly repairs, such as excavation, can be bypassed.

***  Ponding Water – pooling of water, where the pavement has settled, caused by water erosion of sub-grade soils – polyurethane-foam injections lift the concrete to its proper grade, allowing for proper water flow.

***  Sidewalk Division – settling of sidewalks resulting in trip hazards – the lightweight property of sidewalks, when compared to other concrete structures, means extra care must be taken during the lifting and leveling.  Our three crews specialize in this delicate operation where preventing over-lifting is critical.  Sidewalks can be lifted back to their original position in as little as 30 minutes.

***  Soil Densification – pavement-surface failures caused by weak or insufficient support in the foundation soil – patching or replacing the surface pavement and the replacement of foundation soils can be ineffective, temporary, and costly.  Nortex’s polyurethane-foam injections strengthen the subgrade soils to extend the life of the surface pavement.
